The Clarington Baseball Association launched the Elite program for the 2022-23 season with a 15U Elite team.
The head coach named in year one was 1993 World Series Champion Rob Butler. Butler is still the only Canadian to ever win the World Series with the Blue Jays.
Rob has 10 years pro baseball experience including four seasons in the MLB, national team coach, 20 years of coaching travel baseball experience with a Level 4 coaching certificate.
For the 2023-24 season Rob is returning as head coach of the 16U Elite team.
The program will also add a second team, 15U, coached by Adam Van Dam.
Van Dam has coached the 2009 age group in Clarington for several seasons as both a head coach and assistant coach.
Rob and Adam both look forward to the Elite program growing in Clarington for years to come.
