Clarington Baseball Association Partners with Academy Baseball + The Yard

The Clarington Baseball Association (CBA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Academy Baseball, operated out of "The Yard," a premier multi-sport training facility. This exciting collaboration will provide CBA athletes and coaches with an array of development opportunities designed to prepare them for their upcoming seasons while fostering a deeper relationship between Academy Baseball and the CBA.

Led by industry professionals Kyle Fillier, Hugh, Logan and Riley Walters, and Chad Stone, Academy Baseball is recognized for its commitment to advancing the skills of players at all levels. With their leadership and a talented coaching staff in place, the partnership is set to benefit CBA’s grassroots programs, ensuring continued growth and development for both players and coaches.

The Yard’s state-of-the-art turf space is available for rentals and player development, with activities starting in October. The partnership will run through two main phases: January 2025 to May 2025 and May 2025 to August 2025.

This collaboration will focus on the following key goals:

  • House League Development Days: Offering dedicated sessions to foster skill-building for house league players.
  • Academy Baseball Coach Support: Ongoing access to Academy Baseball’s expert coaching staff throughout the year.
  • Coach Development Courses: Training opportunities for CBA coaches, enhancing their ability to lead and mentor players.
  • Strength & Conditioning Programs: Structured fitness training to optimize athletic performance.

Additionally, Academy Baseball will have a significant presence at CBA events, including Baseball Day in Clarington, strengthening the community's connection to the sport.

This partnership represents a milestone for Clarington Baseball Association as they continue to invest in the future of their athletes and coaches, ensuring that players at all levels—house league, rep, and elite—receive the best possible training and support.
